Furiously Funny! Seriously Silly!

Young Frankenstein (Main Stage)
(September 13 – 29, 2019)

Grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, Frederick Frankenstein (pronounced “Fronk-en-steen”) inherits his family’s estate in Transylvania. With the help of a hunchbacked sidekick, Igor (pronounced “Eye-gore”), and a leggy lab assistant, Inga, Frederick finds himself in the mad scientist shoes of his ancestors. “It’s alive!” he exclaims as he brings to life a creature to rival his grandfather’s. Eventually, of course, the monster escapes and hilarity continuously abounds.

Christmas Belles (Main Stage)
(December 6 – 15, 2019)

It’s Christmastime in the small town of Fayro, Texas, and the Futrelle Sisters are not in a festive mood. Frankie is overdue with her second set of twins and Twink, recently jilted and bitter about it, is in jail for inadvertently burning down half the town. Hot-flash-suffering, Honey Raye is desperately trying to keep the Tabernacle of the Lamb’s Christmas Program from spiraling into chaos. But in true Futrelle fashion, the feuding sisters find a way to pull together in order to present a Christmas program the citizens will never forget.

Caught in the Net (Main Stage)
(January 17 – 26, 2020)

The sequel to Run for Your Wife finds our bigamist taxi-driver, John Smith, still keeping both of his families happy and blissfully unaware of each other. However, his teenage children – one girl and one boy by each wife – have met on the Internet and are determined to see each other in person, especially as it transpires that they have so much in common. When it dawns on John that they are about the meet, he plunges into a mess of his own making in order to keep them apart. The ever-spiraling situation gets increasingly out-of-hand as John busts a gut to juggle the truth.

The Wild Women of Winedale
(Main Stage)
(March 13 – 22, 2020)

Three fun-loving sisters and one quirky sister-in-law find themselves drowning under a loads of family keepsakes and possessions nobody wants – especially them. With equal doses of hilarity and heart, these extraordinary women come up with delightful and surprisingly unorthodox ways to clear the clutter from their lives, their homes and their relationships so they can move their lives forward.

Never Too Late (Main Stage)
(May 1 – 10, 2020)

A married man in his fifties suddenly learns he’s becoming a father again. His last child, a girl, was born 24 years ago and, considering the goofball she married, he finds the prospect of another unthinkable. His daughter and son-in-law live with him; she gets up for breakfast at lunchtime and he is curiously addicted to solitaire. It’s not only the impending birth that startles him; his previously meek little wife begins to lay down the law. There’s to be a nursery, a new bath, and she’s to have her own checking account.

The Little Mermaid (Main Stage)
(July 10 – 26, 2020)

Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most beloved stories, The Little Mermaid is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages.
