Auditions Announced for “No Time for Death,” an interactive dinner theatre show on the SCCT Mezzanine October 14-23.
Director Kim Cotter will cast 3 men and 2 women.
Auditions Sunday, August 28th at 4 p.m. and Monday, August 29th at 6 p.m. or by appointment.

The play:

Wonder Labs, the leading high-tech engineering company of the century, is holding an unveiling ceremony for its new, top-secret invention. The board of directors, stockholders, and the press have gathered for dinner and the unveiling. As the evening unfolds, someone dies and the board, stockholders and press (aka our audience!) is faced with a whodunit!

The players:

Nick VanCastle – Upstart engineer at Wonder Labs. A native of a tiny, East European nation, Nick immigrated to America with plans for his new invention. He’s been working late at night and on weekends lately, because the entire company decided he was a little crazy when his plans were discovered…well, they’re not laughing anymore!

Shirley Maxwell – CEO of the company, she took charge after the untimely passing of her husband, who founded Wonder Labs.

Nathan Brandmark – An engineer, he was the star of the development team — that is until Nick came along.

Maxine Brandmark – Nathan’s wife. She has a reputation for flashing her jewelry and platinum cards at company social events.

Jonas White – Personal Assistant to Shirley Maxwell and married to his cell phone.

The audience – Will have opportunities to interact with the players, solve the crime, and be rewarded for successfully naming the culprit.

Those auditioning will be asked to read from the script and join in some improvisational activities. For more information, contact Kim at cotter@cableone.net or via Facebook Messenger.
