Ben Feeken is excited to perform in his first Sioux City Community Theatre Black Box show, although he debuted with the Sioux City Community Theatre on the mainstage as Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof. He is so happy to be able to put on this show with this amazing cast and crew (and for dealing with his antics). Ben is a senior at Morningside University studying history and music, and is involved in the Morningside Choir as well as the president of the Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia fraternity on campus. When not in school activities and acting, Ben loves to hang out and play all sorts of games with his friends. Thank you so much for coming out to support!"

Ian has always been drawn to music. Having been raised as the son of a music teacher, he always loved the emotion in it. He was involved in music and theatre in high school, and absolutely loved it. When he heard that SCCT was doing Ride the Cyclone, he jumped at the bit. He is so, so, thrilled to be in this production and he hopes that you enjoy! Your lucky number is 7. Favorite ride: the haunted house.

The automaton designated Jared Martin is [emotion select] THRILLED to be making his acting debut at [location designation] SIOUX CITY COMMUNITY THEATER in [show title] RIDE THE CYCLONE with this delightful cast and crew, including his lovely [relationship designation] WIFE, [director name] JOEY. When not creating sound and video for either the theater or local media entities or sitting in boxes on stage, he can be found playing tabletop games with his wife, attempting to entertain his cats, Medusa and Hera, or listening to music, like Kneecap or Uboa. He also greatly enjoys horror movies such as I Saw the TV Glow and Sinners. He also enjoys roleplaying games and pretending to be a robot on the side."

After a traumatic experience on the Zipper - Jen avoids fair rides whenever she can. 

Everyone’s favorite attention seeking actress is back on the SCCT stage. She cannot wait for audiences to see this wonderful production of Ride the Cyclone. When she is not at the theater, Jen enjoys befriending her neighborhood cats and starting art projects she will never finish. Although she is often seen doing all things creative - Jen’s true passion is advocating for those who cannot use their own voice."

Karlyan is so excited to be making her debut at Sioux City Community theater after a thrilling ride in high school drama, she is so excited to be working alongside a bunch of talented actors and singers and cannot wait to learn more about the art of theater! Karlyan spends most of her time either working or at school studying for her Physical Therapist Assistant degree at WITCC. If not doing either of those activities, Karlyan can be found chilling with her cat while rewatching Brooklyn 99 for the billionth time."

A soul soaring through highs and lows, forever chasing that thrilling space in between! Marcos rides the winds of creativity with joy, holding on tight beside this incredible cast. In past lives (or at least past shows), he’s embodied Blaine Tuttle in Cruel Intentions and Angel in Rent. When he’s not at SCCT, he works for the SSC Community School District in IT and as the SSC High School Assistant Speech Coach.SSCT thanks you for being the reason we get to do what we love — creating, performing, and sharing it all with you."

Favorite ride: Rollercoaster!

This is Tyler's first time returning to SCCT since Rumors in 2019 and her first Black Box production! This process with these people constantly has me deceased! It has been so fun and exciting to do a small cast musical. When Tyler isn’t in party-mode on the stage, she is making, drinking, or dreaming of coffee. She loves curling up with her Cat and a good book! Shoutout to my family and friends here. Special dedication to Ellie and Bandit. 🐾"
