"Mama Rosebud, Florencia Delloro"

Abigail Chagolla is excited to make her debut at SCCT and be back on the stage after a short break! She is a teaching artist, singer and actress. Her work has been mainly seen in the Twin cities having worked with multiple theatre companies such as Pillsbury Playhouse, CLIMB Theatre, Lyric Arts, Stages Children’s theatre, Minneapolis Musical Theatre and Teatro de Pueblo. She would like to thank her family and library coworkers for their support!!

"Little Sally"

  Adalyne Mercural is very excited to be making her Main Stage debut as Little Sally in Urinetown at SCCT! From her very first acting role as Fern Arable at SCCT, to now, she gives her all when it comes to the stage! When not in school, shopping with a fun drink in hand is the next best thing! Adalyne is grateful to be a part of such an amazing show with an even more amazing group of people. She hopes you all enjoy Urinetown the musical!!

"Penelope Pennywise"

Joey Martin feels incredibly privileged to return to the SCCT stage as Penelope Pennywise after spending much of the year on the other side of the directing table. She was last seen on the mainstage as Judy Bernly in 9 to 5, and recently directed Ride the Cyclone and Romeo and Juliet for the Black Box. She thanks her husband, Jared, for always supporting her, even when theater takes over her life.

"Nickel Short Nellie, Beatrice Blackwell"

Julianne Johnston is a recent alum of Morningside University, receiving degrees in Acting and Directing for Musical Theatre and Nonprofit Management. She is excited to be making her debut on the Sioux City Community Theatre stage! Johnston’s previous credits include Stupid F##king Bird, Ubu Anew (A Play for Strange People), Be More Chill, Chicago, and The Rocky Horror Show.

"Soupy Sue, Agatha Pompington"

Karlyan is excited to be making her Main Stage debut as Soupy Sue in Urinetown at SCCT, after a wonderful time with Ride the Cyclone and Romeo & Juliet on the Black Box she is hyped to continue her journey in Sioux City Community Theater! Karlyan is usually chilling with her cat watching comedy shows when she is not working or taking college classes. Karlyan has had a wonderful time putting on the show with so many amazing actors and actresses as well as the directors and live band! Thank you so much for supporting us and we hope you enjoy the show!

"Lil' Annie Sunshine, Margaret McCraken"

Katie Struck is no stranger to the stage. She was most recently acting in LAMB’s production of Almost, Maine, but you may have also seen her as Mabel from Pirates of Penzance at SCCT or Glinda from The Wizard of Oz at New Stage Players. When she’s not performing on stage, she loves teaching K-5 music at Sergeant Bluff-Luton schools, singing on the worship team at Harvest Church, and spending time with her dog Archie. She hopes you enjoy the show!!

"Officer Lockstock"

Nathanael Roop is thrilled to be back on the Sioux City Community Theatre stage for his fourth production with SCCT and his 18th show overall. A theatre major who graduated from Morningside University, Nathanael has spent years honing his craft both onstage and behind the scenes, thankfully in places with significantly better plumbing than Urinetown. When he’s not performing, he can usually be found directing newscasts at KTIV, writing poetry, or wondering why this city’s bathroom economy feels a little too realistic. He would like to remind audiences to stay hydrated… but maybe pace yourselves.

 Nathanael Ruiz is excited to be appearing in Urinetown as part of his second production with Sioux City Community Theatre. He is currently pursuing a degree in Music Education and will begin student teaching this fall as he works toward a career in inspiring future musicians. Nathanael is especially excited for the opportunity to perform alongside his siblings and to be part of such a fun and talented cast.

Tina Buhrman Begnoche While I'm usually here as a theater Mom, I have appeared in Night of the Living Dead & Murder on the Orient Express at SCCT. This is my first speaking role (Thank you, Michael!). Outside of theater, I substitute teach for the Sioux City Community School district. Much love & appreciation to my amazing family for all of their support.

"Senator Fipp"

 Toby James is beyond ecstatic to be back on the Sioux City Community theatre stage in Urinetown as Senator Fipp after last being in The Little Mermaid as Prince Eric in 2022! He was last seen in February at Nebraska Communities Playhouse in Guys and Dolls as both the Greek and a Havana dancer. Toby studied acting and voice at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is a proud member of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska! He thanks his family, partner, friends, and the cast and crew, and hopes you enjoy the show!
