Alex can never get enough of the spotlight, she is currently in North High’s production of Little Women as Marme alongside this show. Most recently she was in Between the Lines at Morningside University where she plans to attend college this fall. Alex is excited to be stepping back onto the SCCT stage!
Andrew is excited to be taking on such a memorable role in this show! He has enjoyed the vocal challenge and working with some great voices in this cast. When not acting, Andrew is busy as a professor, counselor, SCCT Board President, and (most importantly) a husband and father!
Austin is very excited to be joining SCCT for another production. You may have seen him most recently in Rent at SCCT or Lifespan of a Fact at Morningside University. Austin stepped into a vacant role less than two weeks before opening. He hopes you enjoy the show.
Dave was last seen on SCCT stage as Dennis/Perkins in 'The Play That Goes Wrong'. Off stage, he is a mainframe system admin, worship leader at church, and enjoys guitar and Technic Lego sets. He thanks his wife of 45 years for putting up with his theatre endeavors! Enjoy the show!
Emma is excited to play Kate in her second SCCT show! She previously played Suzy in Closed for the Holidays. Outside of the theater she teaches 4th grade and enjoys exploring her new home, Sioux City. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Grace is a Sophomore at Morningside University and is so excited to be making her SCCT debut. While in high school she was very involved in choir and show choir, sticking with the choir activities in college as well! Though she has never been in a musical or play before she is so very excited to be working with such a great cast and cannot wait for you to see the show!
Katelyn is the 5-12 vocal music instructor at Elk Point-Jefferson. Prior to having her son, Percy, she could be seen on at Morningside University. Recently, she served as a stage manager for A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Hamlet. She is excited to make her SCCT debut, thanking her husband, son, and family for their support during the rehearsal process .
Katie is the K-5 music teacher at Sergeant Bluff-Luton schools. When she is not busy teaching, she loves singing and performing on stage and the worship team at Elevate Sergeant Bluff. Her favorite roles include Cinderella in Into The Woods, Dido in Dido and Aeneas, and Glinda in The Wizard of Oz. She thanks her family, friends, music teachers, and mentors for their support.
Kirsten is an Elementary Education major at Morningside Elementary graduating in May. She has enjoyed working with fellow teachers! You may have seen Kirsten perform in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown as Linus Van Pelt, or Leveling Up as Jeannie at Morningside. She is very excited to be back on stage at SCCT.
Manny is new on our stage. Say Hi you you them them around!
Meredith has helped behind the scenes with several shows at SCCT. This will be her first show joining the cast on stage. When she’s not at the theatre, she is busy as a database programmer and enjoys playing viola with the Cherokee Symphony and taking taekwondo. Thank you to her husband and son for taking care of this show behind the scenes!
Michael is excited to be making his first appearance on stage since college, and this is Michael's first show at SCCT since his childhood. Michael also assisted with many low-skill painting tasks around the set
Molly's first role at SCCT was in Oliver in 2023. She has been highly involved at the theatre ever since. While Molly is not at the theatre she enjoys roller skating with her spouse and two children, crafting, fashion, and currently attends Iowa School of Beauty.
Nathanael Roop has a BS in acting for the voice and stage from Morningside University. He has been a mainstay on the Morningside stage for the past three years but this is his first time acting in a show at SCCT.
Ruby is making her SCCT debut, but she has been working behind the scenes at various theaters for years. She is so excited to get to do a show with her mom again, that she moved back to Sioux City for 2 months! Thank you for coming to the show!
